This is a simple tool (finally something that is using MySQL here ;) ) that is designed to catch messages left by spam bots. The form is hidden and thus it can be seen by bots only. Since this application has caught over 1000 spam's on 03 June 2010, here is a couple of statistics along with ability to search.
I decided to launch this tool and trap after figuring out how many spam messages have been submitted to forms at
my bonsai site. In fact I created that site, and later I stopped working on it which includes lack of comments monedration. Today (26 December 2009) I saw over 2000 comments waiting for approval; Honestly, over 99% are spam messages. I understood that spam is a big problem for those who don't moderate comments and for those who don't use proper antispam techniques. That's the reason why this is the place for sharing knowledhe about spam! Once spam messages are recorded, one will be able to browse them and compare them with own comments!
