This article was originally about so-called
SEO experts who submitted plenty of websites into my
directory using fake names, invalid email addresses, and so on. However, a couple of months ago I changed the submission process and now I do require a submitter to give me a link. I do this because:
- My websites need links too ;)
- I don't want monkeys to use my directory (a monkey is a hired person to do very tedious work non-stop; the problem is that monkeys don't know English in many cases)
Nowadays
Currently I do accept only websites that give me a link. However, some
retarded submitters still exist. They often
- Type an empty space into the box for a link back
- Type the URL of the homepage into the box for a link back (although about 1 out of 100 does give me a link)
- Type the image verification code into the box for a link back
Some so-called
SEO experts do give me a link back, but it's placed on a page that's restricted by
robots.txt. Such submissions are rejected without a blink of the eye.
The Purpose of This Article
The reason why this article exists is simple; I do wonder why such people exist and what they're trying to achieve. They're just spamming and doing no good. Wasting my time, and wasting own time is what these SEO experts really do.
