The Past
Back in 2006 when I started
services-seo.net I was using core that's still running at
carsarmored.org or
a-bonsai.org for example. As time went by, I added this and that feature and it became better. Surely, people could leave their comments and then it all became a good target for spammers. I also started a directory that was using some free link directory script (most likely phpLD) and then I decided to create my own script as I wasn't happy with all features and functionality of that free script.
The Updates
So I decided to create my own directory script, and I also created some spam filter to catch spammy comments. This is what was mentioned within this article when it was published at services-seo.net.
Now
Once I bought
janhvizdak.com and once I moved the directory from
opendirectory.services-seo.net to
submitalink.net I enhanced functionality of these websites again and especially I
got rid of WordPress. Things are now faster, safer and better. For example, in January 2010 I added meta tags option to
submitalink.net's core, I added the execution time function to show how fast a page is generated on the server side. More updates will come as time goes by... This is why I like web and coding; It's never-ending process of updating and upgrading.
