About Infolinks

How It All Started

I joined Infolinks on November 27th 2009. Why? Because earnings from AdSense got worse; From between €1400 and €1700 to less than €1200 per month, this situation was asking for a solution. As ads were optimised already and as I didn't want to test them again (it's stress if you know what I mean), I had to find another way of monetisation for my websites. Not this website, surely (it's non-commercial).

What I've Tried in the Beginning

I found Infolinks by mistake to be honest. I tried Kontera and Chitika in-text ads. Kontera was nothing, it just wasted my time. Chitika was performing nicely during the first days, but then I somehow found Infolinks. I didn't expect anything from it as the publisher account isn't even using https, but why not give it a shot?

After a couple of days

  • Chitika won't show ads to all of your website's visitors
  • Kontera was a waste of time (they pay very few cents per click, there is not enough of clicks, ads aren't shown to all visitors in my experience)
  • Infolinks ads are shown to all visitors, and even though there are some $0.00 clicks, it proved to be the best option out of these three

How Much I Earned With Infolinks

Earnings are very stable in comparison to AdSense for example. With AdSense you can earn €100 one day and next day you'll end up with €50 easily. With Infolinks the earnings don't reach AdSense's potential, but it's still worth it. I am earning between $9 and $11 per day in average. So with about $300 per month, the earnings are reaching about 20% of my AdSense monthly income which isn't that bad at all! I'm currently sending about 200 visitors to Infolinks ads each day, but as I wrote above, it's much better than a brick to the head.

Did Infolinks Affect AdSense Earnings?

Not! For sure! I tested disabling Infolinks for a couple of times and AdSense wasn't affected. Looks like other people tend to click AdSense ads and other type of visitors like Infolinks ads.

Does Infolinks Really Pay?

Yes. But it was a little stressful (perhaps my fault). Let me explain... The Infolinks staff requires you to send you a tax form (or how it's called), or you have to declare that you have not to pay US tax or not to send US tax forms. I checked Infolinks blog and found something like "Payments for December have been issued" even though I haven't received any money. So I emailed the staff and I got the explanation. I simply had to declare that "I do not have any income effectively connected to the USA". I did it by email and on 15th February I received my first payment by PayPal. Great! I also received my January revenue already.

I really do RECOMMEND Infolinks!
